How dual screen works
ScrollCue uses the BroadcastChannel API to sync the script position between two browser windows in real time. Open the dual screen output in a second window, drag it to your second monitor, and go full screen. The output window shows only the script — no controls, no interface, no distractions.
All controls stay on your primary screen. Adjust speed, font size, or section position from the main interface and the output window updates instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need two computers for dual screen?
No. Dual screen works across two browser windows on the same computer. Extend your display to a second monitor and drag the output window to it.
Can I use an iPad as a dual screen output?
Not directly via BroadcastChannel — that requires two windows on the same machine. For an iPad output, use the QR remote setup instead: the iPad becomes a secondary display through the pairing process.
Does dual screen work with mirror mode?
Yes. Enable mirror mode in the main interface and the output window flips horizontally. This is required for glass beam-splitter setups.
