Scrolling & pacing
- Smooth scroll — 10 speed presets, scroll-wheel control mid-take. The script moves at a fixed pace you set before recording.
- Voice scroll — the script follows your speaking pace automatically using the Web Speech API. When you pause, it pauses. Free on Chrome and Safari.
- Script sections — mark any heading as a section. Jump to any point instantly from the floating panel.
Display & formatting
- Font & size — serif, sans, or mono. Size from 20–72px. Narrow the column width so lines are short and your eye travels less.
- Mirror mode — flips text horizontally for glass beam-splitter setups. Toggle from the interface or any connected remote.
- Presenter notes — embed private floating notes in your script. Visible only to you, never captured in recordings.

What is voice scroll?
Voice scroll listens to your microphone and automatically advances the script at your natural speaking pace. When you pause, the script pauses. It is free on Chrome and Safari with no subscription required.
What is ORP mode?
ORP stands for Optimal Recognition Point. ScrollCue flashes each word at the precise character position your eye naturally finds first, allowing faster reading with less eye movement. It is a Pro feature useful for internalizing a script before going live.
How does the QR remote work?
In the Pro interface, tap the QR icon to generate a pairing code. Scan it from any phone or tablet on the same network. The remote device gets full control over play, pause, speed, font size, mirror mode, live cues, and section jumping with no app download required.
What is the difference between smooth scroll and voice scroll?
Smooth scroll moves at a fixed speed you set manually. Voice scroll uses your microphone and moves at your speaking pace automatically — faster when you speed up, paused when you stop. Most creators use voice scroll for recording and smooth scroll for rehearsal.
